Kufta with Layered Tomatoes

 

Ingredients:

 

Meat

2 pounds of ground 93% or more beef (you can use lamb as well) 

Produce

6 big tomatoes

1 parsley bunch

Oils and Vinegars

Extra version olive oil

Baking and Spices

½ tsp black pepper, ground

1 tsp salt

½ tsp whole spice, ground

¼ tsp cloves, ground

¼ tsp cardamom, ground

 

How to make it:

  • Finely chop the parcely and onion, mix with the ground beef and add the salt, pepper and wholespice. Spread it in a Pyrex.

  • Slice the tomatoes, add salt, pepper and extra virgin olive oil and then layer them on top of the meat.

  • Put in the oven at 450 degrees for 45 minutes.

 

Extras:

  • Instead of layered tomatoe, you can chop potatoes, eggplants, zuchinni, onion and tomatoes.
