Green Beans with Tomatoes and Onion




1 big tomato

3 clove of garlic

1 small white onion

2 lb green beans

Oils and Vinegars

Extra version olive oil

Baking and Spices

¼ tsp black pepper, ground

½ tsp salt

¼ tsp whole spice, ground


How to make it:

  • Trim the ends on the green beans and cut them in half, then set aside.

  • In a deep sauce pan, add the extra version olive oil under medium heat.

  • Slice the garlic, chop the onion and add it to the oil for a couple of minutes or until golden brown.

  • Add the green beans along with the chopped tomatoes to the garlic and onion and sauté for few minutes (you may need a little bit of water).

  • Season with salt, pepper and whole spice and cover the pan for 15 minutes, or until the green beans are soft and fully cooked. Serve and enjoy!
